St. Louis Police Face Questions For How They Arrested Protestors

Some of the 100 or so people arrested during protests in St. Louis are angry about how they ended up in jail.  The demonstrations have gone on every day since Friday when a judge acquitted a white former police officer of killing a black motorist back in 2011.  The ACLU of Missouri yesterday said they've been answering calls from some of the people arrested over the weekend.  The main complaint is that police boxed them in, then arrested the protestors who couldn't get out.  St. Louis Police say officers asked the group of people to leave, and when they didn't, officers closed in and arrested them.  The ACLU says it's looking into how police used the tactic, and whether they went too far.

There've also been complaints about police chants that some are calling intimidating.  Several reports have officers chanting "Whose streets?  Our streets" as they arrested dozens of people on Sunday night.
