KROGER Co. has announced today that it plans on closing one of the longest running stores in our area on September 13th.
This isn't the first time the grocery chain has closed the doors on locations in our area - in spring of 201, the Deans Bridge Rd. location shut down, followed by the much talked about 15th St. store in 2017.
"All 120 associates will be considered for reassignment to other Kroger locations as outlined in the company's collective bargaining agreement," Felix Turner, Atlanta Division manager of corporate affairs, said in prepared remarks. "Kroger representatives will meet with associates to discuss reassignments and additional options in the coming weeks."
