Thinking of going the flower route as a gift for Valentine's Day this year?
I realize it's probably considered the safe thing to do and I don't think of it as a gift that you didn't put a lot of thought into. We ladies LOVE flowers and they really do make you smile.
Personally, I don't usually get all squishy over girly things EXCEPT when it comes to getting flowers from my husband Bill. It melts my heart quite frankly! 🙂
Some of my coworkers like the attention it gets from other coworkers when the floral delivery truck pulls up to the front of the building and it's announced over the PA system that so-in-so has flowers waiting for them at the front desk. Come to think of it, that is kind of cool LOL
Now if your mind is made up and you've decided to go the flower route to show your love this Valentine's Day, just know this: it's not the type of flower that counts. You don't always have togo with roses. You can go with your Valentine's favorite flower. Maybe she or he likes lillies or even carnations. You can even just order an arrangement of whatever flower in his or her favorite color(s). There are many optionsto choose from. But make sure you get what you order:
Find out if your flowers are coming in a box or a vase. It's a real pain to have to take the flowers out and arrange them in a vase yourself if you're not expecting them.You should also check for a satisfaction guarantee badge on the website. This is a good sign that the company will be willing to work with you if you're not happy with your order.Check the reviews online, especially if it's your first time working with this particular flower business.
