You may have heard that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the ideal times to book flights. If you're planning flights during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays...AAA says not only is that true, but it's THIS Tuesday and Wednesday...as in TODAY and TOMORROW.
Based on three years of flight booking data,AAA Travel determined that Wednesday, September 25, is the best day to score deals on Thanksgiving flights, and Thursday, September 26, is when travelers should secure Christmas flights.
It's true - you MIGHT find some last minute deals closer to the holidays, as airlines are filling in those remaining few empty seats...but availability will be limited to say the least.
So...when are the actual best days to fly out and return?
