The Miller Theater originally opened in 1940 and quickly became known as an entertainment destination and premier movie palace in the heart of downtown Augusta. Generations of Augustans have shared their fond memories of family outings, first dates, social events, and many more cherished moments that happened while watching movies at the Miller.
