Def Leppard have put together Volume 4, the fourth of six box sets showcasing their complete recorded output, which they'll release on November 13th.
Available on CD and vinyl, this one contains all their studio recordings from 2015 to 2023, which are the albums Def Leppard, Diamond Star Halos, and Drastic Symphonies, each presented in their original packaging, plus numerous rare tracks curated by singer Joe Elliott, many of which appear on vinyl and CD for the first time. It will also contain a hardcover book featuring rare photographs and liner notes, and interviews with all five band members.
Elliott says, “Some of the bonus bits are quite recent but there is also something that was lost in the vaults for over 33 years until earlier this year. We’re extremely excited to finally put this box set in front of you, it’s a great listen and a good read too!”
With this announcement comes their cover of The Beatles' “Revolution.” It was originally recorded for a TV ad, but never used nor released. You'll find it on YouTube or wherever you stream music.
Other covers on the collection include David Bowie's "Heroes," Montrose's "Bad Motor Scooter" featuring Sammy Hagar, Paul McCartney and Wings' "Helen Wheels," and Bad Company's "Seagull."
